Tuesday 2/2 in Cartooning: Cartooning and Animation

Today please do 2 self portrait comics. One should fit on a notecard, and the other should fit onto a 3 x 12 piece of paper. Use the entire space for each. Sketch in pencil 1st and then trace your lines with a sharpie pen.

Tuesday 2/2 in Art I: 1st Art 1 assignment

Not that I'm encouraging any of you to get a tattoo, but it's interesting to think about... If you did get a tattoo what would it look like? Would it be huge? Would it be simple and small? What personal meaning would it have for you? Please take a notecard and write your name and hour on the lined side. Add some rough small sketches of your tattoo on that same side. When you're ready, flip over the card onto the non-lined side and draw a final copy of it in pencil. Fill up the entire card with your design. Next, you'll trace it with a thick sharpie outline. Add color if you'd like. Be ready to share your tattoo and its meaning with a classmate.
